Paper Mache Ornament Box

A pretty large size paper mache box, great for display or storage
of "special" Christmas keepsakes or vintage ornaments.
I am very happy with my color combination, and the added
stamping around the box which was actually done with paint
Couldn't resist adding scraps of vintage sheet music stamped with Christmas phrases:
"I will honor Christmas in my heart..." Charles Dickens
and, my favorite...
"May your days be merry and bright"

Salvaged Wooden Table~Folk Art Style

This is a wooden side table, "found" so to speak and given a makeover. It was cleaned up, painted with acrylic paint with a JoSonja style pattern of an old coffee pot and mug. The trim was painted freehand by me (I'm surprised too) with acrylic copper and gold-colored inks. I donated to an auction for my painting club and it was a hit.

Asian Themed Quilt for Mom

This is a single-sized quilt that I made for my mom who lives in Georgia. Mom's entire house is Japanese-style decorating and I thought she would like this... and she did! Didn't have but a small amount of the motif fabric so I had to divide it up in order to make this quilt.
I tried to talk my mom into washing the quilt so it would look it would get that "puckered" look that I love... but she said she will press it after washing... oh well. Glad she liked it though.

Painted & Altered Recipe Box

This is a wooden recipe box that was painted at a workshop and then, later altered with metallic spray, glazes, adding charms; then, decorated with several layers of scrapbooking paper. The inside is painted metallic gold. It was a nice change from the usual.
